In July 2021, the Fedora community announced the release of the long-awaited Fedora 6.0. This new version sought to strengthen Fedora’s digital preservation sensibilities, data transparency and commitment to community standards by incorporating the Oxford Common File Layout. This presentation will highlight the newest features of Fedora 6 as well as explore our newly released Camel Toolbox – a suite of microservices that allow integration with Fedora that was developed in response to community input. We also want to provide an update on the IMLS Grant (LG-246264-OLS-20) which was focused on developing a much-needed set of migration tools and resources that would eventually be compiled into a migration toolkit available for community-wide use.
