I’ve shared information here about previous workshops from the Aeolian Network, a UK-US research partnership exploring Artificial Intelligence for Cultural Organizations. They’ve just made recordings of the presentations from their most recent (online) workshop, which was held November 29-30, 2022 and hosted by the Hathi Trust Research Center and titled “Making More Sense With Machines: AI/ML Methods for Interrogating and Understanding our Textual Heritage in the Humanities, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences”. I had the opportunity to attend this workshop, which emphasized work involving the Hathi Trust corpus; it included a number of presentations that I think will interest many in the CNI community.
You can find these presentations at

as well as links to more information about earlier workshops and the network itself. Aeolian will be hosting another workshop in February 2023 (details to be announced soon).
