Proposals are now being accepted for project briefings to be presented at CNI’s Fall 2022 Membership Meeting on December 12-13 in Washington, DC, at the JW Marriott Hotel. Anyone may propose a project briefing, including groups/individuals from non-member institutions and organizations.
CNI’s Fall 2022 Meeting will be entirely in-person (we will not be doing a virtual event) and will follow the redesign of the fall ‘21 and spring ‘22 in-person events, with a very limited number of breakout sessions and emphasis on opportunities for discussion and exchange. We intend to record all meeting sessions and to make videos openly available after the meeting.
Project briefings are typically 30-minute or one-hour sessions that focus on a discussion of a timely topic, or on a specific institutional/organizational or cross-institutional project related to digital information. This year we will also offer the option to propose lightning round presentations (limited to seven minutes and a single speaker).
A limited number of project briefings will be accepted; topics that would particularly benefit from interactive discussion will be prioritized, as will proposals focusing on novel or particularly creative approaches to community challenges.
Please keep in mind that CNI’s new, quarterly Pre-Recorded Project Briefing Series, is designed to complement the biannual membership meetings, offering an opportunity to share updates and reports on new initiatives in a timelier manner and on a year-round basis. We encourage prospective speakers to explore this program as they consider submission options.
All meeting attendees (including speakers) will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to participating in the meeting; details are forthcoming.
Proposals may be submitted via online form:
