Announcing the Fall 1995 Meeting of the Coalition Task Force
Agenda & Project Briefings (Presentations)
The gopher directory /CNI/tf.meetings/1995b.fall contains the papers related to the Fall 1995 Task Force meeting of the Coalition for Networked Information.
The Coalition’s Fall Task Force Meeting was held in Portland, OR on October 30-31, 1995 at the Portland Marriott Hotel, and immediately following CNI’s meeting, Educom held its Annual Conference at the Oregon Convention Center.
Task force member representatives who plan to attend both meetings and would like to stay at the Portland Marriott for the duration of both meetings, should complete the Educom ’95 Housing Form that we sent you on May 12th. If you did not receive this packet, please send an e-mail message to Jacqueline Eudell (jackie@cni.org), the CNI Office Manager, and she will forward it to you immediately.
Task force member representatives who plan to attend only the CNI Fall Task Force Meeting, should use the instructions for calling the Portland Marriott Hotel that we will provide on the CNI Hotel Information sheet that we will send you in late July as part of your “meeting call packet.”

About the Meeting: Twice each year, representatives from the member organizations of the Coalition for Networked Information gather for Task Force Meetings. The meetings are designed to explore new technologies, content, and applications; to further collaboration; to analyze technology policy issues; and to catalyze the development and deployment of new projects.
Project Briefings are the heart of every Task Force Meeting. These briefings address state-of-the-art development and issues of interest to the membership, as outlined in each year’s program plan. Architectures and standards, economic challenges, scholarly communication, digital libraries, middleware, and innovations in teaching and learning are topics that consistently engage CNI members’ interests.
