The CNI website contains a mixture of materials created by CNI staff and material contributed by presenters at our meetings and by our member organizations. In general, material created by CNI is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License; there are a few exceptions, mostly pertaining to older documents (in many cases predating the development of Creative Commons licenses) that have been published but are made available here. It is our objective going forward over time to explicitly label pages and documents that are available under Creative Commons licenses from us with the Creative Commons license and logo.
For contributed material, going forward, we will be asking contributors to label their contributions with rights information; some of the contributed material is already so labeled, but a great deal does not carry specific rights information and is made available under the terms and conditions of the contributing individuals or organizations.
