Research Data Management
The massive amounts of data being generated from many sectors, including science, business, education, telecommunications, etc., and impacting all fields of research, has catapulted the challenge of data stewardship to the forefront of information management. Effective storage, preservation, and access to digital information, as well as mandates from government agencies and other funders requiring projects to include data management plans, are huge challenges facing the community. CNI explores institutional, national, and disciplinary-level strategies and systems related to this issue.
